Chevrolet Corvette

The iconic Corvette Coupe and Corvette Convertible are the two with the longest heritages, and are two of the most essential vehicles on the landscape. The new Corvette Grand Sport Coupe and New Corvette Grand Sport Convertible, as the name implies, receive extra race-bred amenities, including 6-piston front brakes, special bodywork, flared fenders, and special wheels.

For over 50 years, drivers have flocked to the Corvette for its blend of power, style, and driver-oriented design. This sports car is an icon for a reason, and the Chevrolet Corvette more than deserves to be part of the lineup that has been an American favorite since its debut in 1952.

The power behind the contemporary Corvette is capable V-8, through and through. Four V-8 engine choices range from 6.2 liters to 7 liters, all running on premium fuel for premium performance. Even the smallest of these engines puts out a jarring 430 horsepower, and the high performance end gets you up to a whopping 638 horses.

These powerhouse engines are paired with 6-speed transmission, your choice between manual (with overdrive) and automatic (with both overdrive and auto-manual). The manual is equipped with Launch Control, and all models are built on a rear wheel drive platform for optimum acceleration and command of the road.

Inside, the driver-centered interior of the Chevrolet Corvette is automotive craftsmanship at its finest. Even the base model, the Corvette Coupe, features leather bucket seats, full power features, CD/MP3/XM audio, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and much more.
On the most fully-equipped model, the Corvette ZR1, you’ll enjoy an expansive list of features: Bose audio, heated sport seating (with side bolsters, power adjustment, and lumbar support), Bluetooth technology, OnStar, Custom Leather wrapping, carbon console trim, and much more.
In between the Base and ZR1 models, there are several different Corvette styles to choose from. All heavy on performance and luxury, just tweaked with varying mechanics and features according to the style you choose.
The Chevy Corvette Z06 was actually co-developed with the C6.R Corvette race car, and has a more powerful engine, carbon-fiber components, an aluminum frame, and reaches up to 198 miles per hour. Finally, the Corvette ZR1, described as a “stunning benchmark in Corvette performance,” takes the lightweight road-readiness of the Z06 and adds almost more supercharged components than are imaginable. The ZR1 reaches a top speed of 205 miles per hour and is one of the most singularly impressive vehicles in production.
With all of this power, it doesn’t hurt to know that Chevy more than stands by the Corvette. All new Corvettes come backed by Chevy’s 100,000/5-year Powertrain Limited Warranty for starters; add on the 100,000 mile/5-year Roadside Assistance and Courtesy Transportation Programs and you have the best coverage in America.
But with everything you know about the Corvette—its power and performance, premium features and detailing, and even outstanding warranty coverage—nothing speaks for the Corvette as well as the Corvette itself. Sleek, powerful, fresh, and enticing, the Chevrolet Corvette is a sports car like nothing else on the road.
