• AWD Mode instinctively sends more power to the rear and front wheels to enhance traction on wet, ice-cover, snow-covered, and dry roads.

• FWD Mode is perfect for everyday driving and is engineered to bolster fuel efficiency.

GMC Pro Safety Comes Standard on the Terrain

GMC Pro Safety is an innovative suite of six cutting-edge technologies designed to help make you more aware of possible hazards. It includes:

• Lake Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning employs a gentle steering-wheel nudge to let you know whenever you leave your intended lane. You can receive additional alerts if required.

• Automatic Emergency Braking works in conjunction with Forward Collision Alert to help reduce or avoid a front-end accident. This innovative feature works when you’re traveling below 50 miles per hour. It uses state-of-the-art camera technology to enhance your hard braking or to provide automatic hard braking.

• Intellibeam-Auto High Beams will instinctively cycle the on and off based on the on coming traffic.

• Forward Collision Alert can alert you of a potential front-end collision, so you can take the proper action. This feature can also issue tailgating alerts if you’re following a vehicle too closely.

• Following Distance Indicator offers you a visual time gap in seconds between you and the vehicle you’re following, which can you determine if you’re following too closely.

• Front Pedestrian Braking works around the clock to help reduce the severity of a frontend collision with a pedestrian that may be in front of you.
